Music Week at the Library


Tom Sieling, a singer/guitarist/banjoist originally from Clyde, will perform on Mon., July 13 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. His concert “Howl at the Moon . . . with a Wild Thing Tune!” includes humorous songs about the natural world. This program is appropriate for children and adults.

Songwriting Workshop Series - Learn to write your own lyrics and set them to music - for children ages 6 and up as well as adults. Perform a concert in August. The dates for the workshops are Tues., July 14, Thurs., July 16, Mon., July 20, Thurs., July 23, Tues., July 28 and Thurs., July 30 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. each day. Registration is required and limited to 20.

Watch the musical movie “High School Musical 3” on Wed., July 15 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. Popcorn and juice will be served.

Storyhour continues on Thurs., July 16 at 1 p.m. in the children’s area.

Learn to make a musical instrument and play it on Fri., July 17 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room.

All programs are free and registration is not required except for the songwriting series.
