Paintings Bought by the Library

These two paintings were purchased at the Hotchkiss auction.

The top one is the Hotchkiss Essential Oil Building

and the bottom one is the back of the old Pyrofax building

before it was torn down.

The artist was Richard Ware.

Money given by Annette and the late John Harris

was used to purchase the two paintings.

Eventually they will hang in the Local History Room.

Pride of the Library Award

Handcrafted Santas and a two foot tall dollhouse

are on display at the Library. Each item

was created by Lisa Franklin of Lyons.

She molded the faces of the Santas and created

their bodies and clothes.

These will be on display through the end
